A Prayer
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can. And wisdom to know the difference.

A Dinner Treat
My very good friend Sweet Grace Tami prepared a 4 course dinner for me the last time we visited her house. I was deeply touched by the gesture so here I am now showing my deepest appreciation by posting a blog as my way of saying thank you. Although we missed one friend Sheila, who had chicken pox at the time, we still enjoyed the time together. Hopefully, on our next meet up, our friend Sheila can join us.( Above )A lovely velvet cake she made herself. ( Below) The pasta that's Oh So Yummy!

What I did on Valentines Day.
First stop, after dropping Francis off to school, was a visit to Kilmainham Gaol with my friend Maricel Vacas. I believe she's making it her mission to visit as many tourist places as she can before her family moves to Spain for good. Kilmainham Gaol is one of the largest unoccupied gaols in Europe.
I've been in this place before with my sister JM just days after I gave birth to my eldest son. This time, I was with my second son Cian, who at the age of 2, is definitely not good idea to bring to a museum. Anyways, we decided to go ahead and join the tour and planned to excuse ourselves from the tour if and when Cian decides to tour the museum on his own or become the tour guide himself which true to form is what Cian did.
Eventually decided to excuse ourself from the tour and wait for my friend outside the museum.
When my friend came out, we decided to visit the gardens of a nearby tourist place. The Royal Hospital Kilmainham. We only had time to visit the gardens and planned to visit the museum some other time. And here's a few pics to share.
I'm Back!
It's been nearly 2 years now since I last visited the world of blogging. Not that I am mad into expressing my thoughts and emotions into anything or anybody anyway. And if I do, it would only be to those chosen few.
The past 2 years had been a very eventful year for me. Testing my inner strength and courage. Believing that I can get through all this trials and tribulations. And here's me now hoping to pick up the pieces and start all over again. Blogging is one among other things that I find myself going back into that I hope will help me find the real me.
For sure, my dear sisters will be glad if not ecstatic to read new post from me.

Smear Test
I got my smear test result recently and everything was fine. Praise God for that!(That's exactly the words my friend Leonor said). I was expecting it to be ok for many reasons. First, I did not have any abnormal signs and symptoms that would make me suspect otherwise. Second, I am still breastfeeding my second baby which I believe helps prevent many cancers. And lastly, God is there above and He has his plans for me.
My next smear will be in 3 years time. I hope the result will be the same.

La Leche League Coffee Morning
I was up at Marlay Park this morning to attend the La Leche League coffee morning. La Leche League is a group of mothers who are breastfeeding, had breastfed or are planning to breastfeed their baby. I had a wonderful time as I am new to this group as we recently moved to a new house in this area. I decided then to become a member of their group even though I'm still a member of another LLL group. The later group gave me their permission anyway to join a new LLL group here.
Anyway, I met wonderful mothers there who welcomed me very well and had a lovely chat with them regarding breastfeeding. I'm looking forward to the next meeting.

Early Spring Day II

Hello Again,
I recently finished this project that took me months to finish. I love this project and so proud of myself that I was able to finish it. I am currently looking for a perfect frame to fit this and looking forward to display this on our wall.
I am now working on my another cross stitch Project titled Vase of Roses. I got the pattern from an old cross stitching magazine which I bought at a charity shop. Credits to my sister for sending me the threads I needed to work on the project. She missed sending out the aida cloth though. hehehe.. Thanks Claire.. Miss you a lot!
